About us
The Consortium Red Local - Local Network for Economic Promotion, Employment and Training from the Region of Madrid is a body governed by Public Law composed of the following Town Councils:

Red Local has, as a whole, a population of more than 430.000 inhabitants.
The Municipalities belonging to the Consortium have a great potential of economic and demographic growth and most of them have a fully industrial character.
Our Municipalities have shared, for more than 10 years, the concern for their role in economic promotion and social innovation as the closest administration to the citizen, local administration.
Our aim is cooperation and exchange of knowledge with other UE territories in the following fields:
- Fair, balanced and sustainable Social development.
- Social and / or vocational integration of groups at risk of exclusion.
- Support and recognition of not only SMEs as a key element for local and regional development in Henares Corridor and its surroundings, but also of developers of local initiatives.
- Development of training and labour intermediation.
- Modernization of public administrations and their proximity to citizens.
- Promotion and use of synergies coming from the opportunities offered by the information society and new technologies.
- Promotion of equal opportunities for men and women in the labour market, supporting the development of activities for reconciling family and working life.
For more than 10 years of joint work, Red Local Consortium has carried out a great number of projects. Most of them are aimed to promote socially responsible employment and vocational integration into the labour market, development of regional, national and transnational projects.
